Windows 10 is no end of problems. I use Microsoft excel None of these things work for me. Yeah, what about Excel ? I don't want to have to scroll through every workbook when I alt-tab But what about Excel on Windows 10?

Any help out there? When using Excel with Windows 7 I could hover over the Excel icon in the task bar to see thumbnails of all open Excel files then move the cursor to click on the file I wanted to see. However, with Excel on Windows 10 when I hover over the taskbar icon the file thumbnails only appear briefly, in fact, so briefly that I cannot move the cursor quickly enough to click on them to open them.

Any suggestions for overcoming this since it is very frustrating to lose a feature that I rely upon. Istill need to click on what ever category I want, id like it to be shown all the time, open. Paul, I also have Excel and Windows I just right-clicked on that 'ribbon' or 'toolbar' at the bottom of my screen and then chose 'show task view button' and now I can see all my opened Excel files there.

Excel is the only program I see this with. I sent feedback to MS. Friday, January 16, AM. I check my installed updates and I do have SP1 installed. I noticed this morning if there is only one document open I can see the image of the spread sheet that is open along with the title of the document at the top of the thumbnail. If two or more are open there is no image of the spread sheet but the title at the top is there and if I click any of the thumbnails it will change to that document so it looks like I'm just missing the image of the thumbnails when more than one document is open.
